By 1998, Novare had gained substantial experience with adaptive reuse projects. Following the success of Peachtree Lofts and the growing popularity of loft-style living, Lennar Corporation solicited Novare to fee-develop an office-to-apartment adaptive reuse project, which is now known as Renaissance Lofts. The former home of the Environmental Protection Agency, this fifteen-story office building was ideally located to share in Atlanta's downtown renaissance. Novare managed the property's redevelopment into a 186-unit apartment property for Lennar. The building was subsequently converted into condominiums.
