Until the late 1990's, Midtown Atlanta's Peachtree Corridor was not a desirable
destination. Novare purchased the 300,000-square foot office building in the
heart of this area in 1994 and converted the building to 210 apartment units.
Soon after completion, Peachtree Lofts was leased in two phases. Two years,
the market provided the appropriate opportunity, and the building was converted
to condominiums. The popularity of Peachtree Lofts played a role in validating
the Midtown residential market, giving way to unprecedented growth in the years
that followed.
